Default Altimeter

Hi guys need some help on this very crushed Altimeter on the dial i can make out MK v11 and what i think is ICF and a number 6A/588

i could do with some dates on when they were started being used and when they were obsolete any info would be great would they have been used on civilian aircraft? or military or both?

Military again I think from Spit or Hurry but without checking my book not sure of the mark of which type. Back later

so this was found along with the two rudder pedals i have is there any chance that they come from a spitfire or hurricane? this item was ten feet from were i dug the pedal from

Almost certainly a spit or Hurricane. Dug a few aircraft in my time.
