Default Unvoided RE cap badge.

I think I need help.

I've got a biscuit tin full of British cap badges, but I'm no expert on them. Can anyone tell me if this one is genuine or not ? It doesn't have a bendy slider, like most fakes do, and I'm tending to think it's ok.

Any opinions would be most welcome.

Default RE Cap Badge

Hi,
This is identical to my Grandfathers cap badge. It is King George V. WW1 Royal Engineers. No doubt genuine.

Many thanks for your comment, Ken.

That's the first unvoided version that I've managed to find - Glad to hear that you think it's a good one.

My father wore the GVIR version in the Far East (1944-45) - I used to like shining it up with the old Brasso, when I was a kid.
